Kohler opens fourth spa hotel with views of Green Bay’s Lambeau Field

24 Jul 2017
Lodge Kohler, the exclusive hotel of the Green Bay Packers Titletown, opened yesterday (19 July) in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The hotel features a Kohler Waters Spa, which has a focus on hydrotherapy services. It will be home to a Hydromassage Experience Pool, which is a signature feature of the spa that was created by Herb Kohler. The large-scale whirlpool is located in the heart of the spa, and features a water massage walkway for a “hydro-massage journey.” In the experience, massaging jets target the body at varying heights starting with the calves, leading through the glutes and back, and concluding with a gooseneck showerhead for the neck and shoulders.

In addition, the Kohler Custom Vichy shower massage is one of only four of its kind in the world. The spa includes a 20m swimming pool with waterfall, roof top spa garden and lounge.

The Kohler Waters Spa encompasses 6,000sq ft (557sq m) within the first floor of the hotel and has six treatment rooms, three finishing stations, a hair salon and a boutique, as well as an intimate al fresco garden. In addition to hydrotherapy services, the spa offers an array of massage and body treatments as well as facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing service.

The spa features Gharieni's MO1 Series treatment beds, and Gharieni also created bespoke PediSpas using Kohler's water technology and faucets.

Within feet of Lambeau Field, the home field of the NFL team Green Bay Packers, Lodge Kohler has 134 bedrooms, 10 suites and views of Lambeau Field. The hotel is also the official lodging partner of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, a nonprofit attraction attended by tens of thousands of Packers fans each year.

CEO Herb Kohler, said: “Being part of the Green Bay/ Ashwaubenon community, adjacent to Lambeau Field, is an experience that we welcome with open arms, and I extend Kohler hospitality to every guest of Lodge Kohler.”

The Lodge Kohler in Green Bay is the fourth spa location for Kohler, which has a long history of kitchen and bath products, engines and generators. In 1981, Herb Kohler transformed a workers’ dormitory called the American Club at the company headquarters in Kohler, Wisconsin, into a world-class resort hotel. It was later joined in 2004 by The Old Course hotel, Golf Resort and Spa in St. Andrews, Scotland and The Kohler Waters Spa in Chicago.

“Kohler Co. has been in the water business for almost 150 years and are leaders in the industry on hydrotherapy and the manipulation of water to promote relaxation and detoxification,” said Garrett Mersberger, director, Kohler Waters Spa. “The spa is a destination within a destination and affords a true hydrotherapy experience in a way that only Kohler can provide.”
